Greg began as a fan and friend of Doris, and then as a roommate at 422 Oak Street. He began to do drag with the Sluts A Go-Go as Ginger Quest and would go on to host the famous Vegas In Space party that started them all down the road to filming the greatest drag movie ever made.
One of my favorite treasures from Greg’s collection is this Far Side cartoon postcard that Doris found and sent to Ginger. It’s a wonderful momento of their friendship and a great example of Doris’ wit. She must have howled with laughter when she saw it.
