Jasper Havoc was Doris friend in school, they explored drag together as teenagers and then as members of Sylvia and the Synthetics. Jasper joined Doris briefly in San Francisco in 1977. Jasper was killed in a fire in 1979 while Doris staying with him in Sydney. Doris was unable to save him.
