The debut poster for the Sluts A Go-Go designed by Doris Fish. Doris loved creating the posters for their shows, so much so that the actual show itself was a mere formality. Things I love about this: the Doris portrait is naturally awesome, I drew our logo from this image. I love the phrases “Real GLAMMA” and “Fake Women”, and of course the “Introducing the mysterious Miss X”! The lettering is superior, hand drawn and possessing an underground comix vibe. Doris knew what she was doing.

She created the 1991 comic book Homozone 5, inspired by the Sluts A-Go-Go and the X-Men and is currently adapting "Vegas in Space" as a comic book. Long fascinated by drag and trans history, she is Creative Director at the Louise Lawrence Transgender Archive.
