In her last full year of life Doris Fish wrote a column for the San Francisco Sentinel newspaper, a free LGBT weekly. Part society column, soapbox and memoir, the year’s worth of writing are a great treasure to friends and fans. She was thoughtful, defiant, controversial, witty and eloquent to the very end.
